The X Congress of Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be held in the capital of the region

Krasnoyarsk will host the X Congress of Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on June 16. It will be held in the Great Concert Hall of the Philharmonic under the motto “Creating the future together.”

Delegates representing all territories of the region will take part in the events of the congress. Thus, the municipalities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be represented by 720 people, the regional parliament – 40 deputies, another 143 people will represent the governor’s administration, the regional government, law enforcement agencies and public organizations. Honorary citizens of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will also be present in the hall.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko noted that the congress is not just a reporting conference, but the highest governing body of the regional Association for interaction between representative bodies of state power and local self-government. In fact, this is the main political and discussion platform of the region, where the efforts of legislators are synchronized. The forum will bring together almost a thousand delegates. The uniqueness of the event is in its format: in one hall, people’s representatives from the entire vertical of power gather – from deputies of municipal and village councils to parliamentarians of the regional Legislative Assembly and the State Duma. The main goal is to develop joint decisions on the socio-economic development of territories and exchange best practices.

Before the congress, parliament members held a series of on-site sessions and working trips to municipalities in order to study the situation on the ground in advance and collect direct requests from residents. This will allow us to bring into the work of the forum not only theory, but specific problems.

The result of the plenary meeting will be a final resolution. The document will become a kind of “road map” and a direct impetus for legislators – new regional laws and amendments will be prepared on its basis.

Let us remember that the first Congress of Deputies was held in 1998. In September 2026, elections to the regional parliament will be held, and the congress will allow us to sum up the work of the fourth convocation.
