Rapid announced the first transfer of the summer. Midfielder Vladan Bubanja (27 years old) signed for a year, being brought on loan.
The Montenegrin last played for Osijek in the Croatian first league on loan from Russian Championship club FC Orenburg.
He was presented first thing on Monday morning, 3 days after GSP.ro wrote exclusively about his transfer to Rapid.

“Welcome Vladan Bubanja! FC Rapid and FC Orenburg have reached an agreement for the 27-year-old midfielder.
It comes as a season-long loan with an option to buy. Good luck in the Rapid jersey!”, Rapid sent on Monday morning, at 7:00 a.m., on social networks.
Vladan Bubanja played 17 matches in the Croatian first league in the 2025-2026 season, managing to score one goal. Rapid will fight for a starting position with Kader Keita, Jakub Hromada, Constantin Grameni and Cătălin Vulturar, the other defensive midfielders present at the moment under the command of Daniel Pancu.
He quickly introduced Vladan Bubanja
A 1.93m tall midfielder, Bubanja comes to Rapid with a rich CV. He has 3 titles in Montenegro with Sutjeska Niksic in 2018, 2019 and 2022. He also won a Cup in Bosnia with FK Sarajevo in 2025.
He is quoted at 750,000 euros on the transfermarkt and played one match in the national team of Montenegro. He started his career at Sutjeska, in his native country, and in 2022 he left for Lokomotiva Zagreb.
In 2024 he arrived in Sarajevo, and a year later he signed in Russia, with Orenburg. He was loaned to Osijek from January 2026 until the end of the season.
Rapid is also going to introduce Kamara
After Bubanja, Rapid is also going to announce the transfer of Mohammed Kamara, extreme left from CFR Cluj.
We will let Kamara know as soon as possible if everything is OK with the medical visit. His injury is identical to what Albion Rrahmani had, I sent him to the same doctor, checked him, everything went well. He will do extra exercises for the tendon, but Pancu will have him available quickly. We will rely on him in training camp. He will be able to play from the start of the season.
