Emma Răducanu qualified for the final at Queen's, after two matches on the same day

Emma Răducanu (23 years old, #42 WTA) qualified on Saturday evening in the final of the WTA grass court at Queen's, the first preparatory tournament before the third Grand Slam of the year, at Wimbledon. The Brit with Romanian origins prevailed in the game against Iva Jovic (18 years old, #19 WTA), the sixth favorite of the competition, score 6-2, 6-2.

Emma Răducanu continues her dream form at Queen's, where she had no emotions at all in the semi-finals, at the end of the game on Saturday getting the tickets for the last act.

It will be Emma's third career final, after the one she won at the US Open and the one she lost in Cluj-Napoca, and the second since 2026, after the Transylvania Open, when she lost to Sorana Cîrstea, in February.

But Răducanu now took revenge for the failure in Romania, winning against Sorana in the round of 16 at Queen's, score 6-4, 6-2.

Emma then saved three break points in a key game of the match, extremely long and contested, broke away at 4-1 and from there got even closer to victory. He got it in the end with a 6-2 doubles, advancing to the third final of his career.

In the final, Emma Răducanu will duel with the Croatian Donna Vekic (29 years old, 76th place in the world), who was defeated by Katie Boulter in the semifinals, score 6-1, 6-3.
