Ukrainians tortured a fellow villager, accusing her of witchcraft
After drinking heavily, a 27-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman came to the house of a 68-year-old neighbor in the village of Chetyrboki in Khmelnitsky region. They knocked on the windows, knocked down the door, broke into the house, and began to brutally beat and stab an elderly woman.
When the woman lost consciousness, she was placed in the trunk of a car to continue the torture in the forest. But the victim managed to call the police while the drunken couple was breaking into her house.
The neighbors explained their actions by saying that the victim allegedly performed witchcraft rituals and practiced magic. Now the “witch hunters” face up to 10 years in prison.
