PSG defended their European throneafter beating Arsenal on penalties in the Champions League final! Gabriel's miss in the last series was the trigger for general chaos on the streets of Paris! It was 1-1 at the end of 120 minutes and 4-3 after penalties.

For the second consecutive year, the French won the Champions League. The negative hero of Mikel Arteta's formation was Gabriel Magalhaes, who missed the decisive penalty.

This match was closely watched in Paris. Each penalty was celebrated by the French, and the last one caused general chaos.

Cracks began to be heard from all sides and did not stop for an hour, according to sportal.rs. Fireworks filled the sky and it was total madness on the streets.

Supporters, who gathered in large numbers on the Champs-Élysées and around the Parc des Princes, clashed with the police. There were also altercations during the match in Budapest.

The fans went further and started burning bicycles in the street and destroying public property.

For this reason, PSG also reacted on social networks:

“Paris Saint-Germain invites everyone to live this historic moment with pride, responsibility and respect, so that this celebration is a mirror of this exceptional season,” appeared on the club's Instagram page.

The city authorities were expecting something similar after the incidents that took place last year during the champions parade – so thousands of gendarmes and policemen were mobilized.

During the day, the world's top brands protected their windows on the most famous street of the French capital.
