A Krasnoyarsk man, punished again for drunken driving, stole a neighbor's smartphone from the balcony under investigation.

The Krasnoyarsk resident came under investigation for repeated drunk driving and committed another crime unrelated to driving.

As the police said, in April 2023, a 43-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk, owner of a car service center and father of two children, was deprived of his license for 1.5 years for drunk driving. He paid the fine, surrendered his license, but 24 days before the driving ban officially expired, he got behind the wheel drunk again: he drank alcohol at home and around midnight decided that he needed to replenish his supplies.

He then voluntarily returned the phone, compensated for the damage, but the theft (Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was also included in a criminal case, which will be considered by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnoyarsk.
