If last year one carcass cost 7-9 thousand rubles, then this year they are asking for 14k and more. A 45-kilogram cattle will cost 17k, a well-fed 60-kilogram one will cost 22k.
As sellers at the market told us, 40% of the total volume goes to neighboring Azerbaijan, as well as to Moscow, Iran and even the UAE. For the rest, prices are rising due to high demand.
