In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a mother of seven children forced her older daughters to sit with her younger daughters and run the household, forbidding them to go to school and clubs. This was reported in the report of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights Irina Miroshnikova for 2025.
A 19-year-old girl came to the reception. She explained that because of her mother’s behavior she left home. Later, for the same reason, her 15-year-old sister refused to live with her family; the girl, at her own request, was placed in the Regional Center for Family and Children. While she lived in the center, she enjoyed going to classes and showed good academic performance, but she absolutely did not want to return home.
The father of the five older children is a citizen of Tajikistan, his whereabouts are unknown. The father of the two youngest is a native of Azerbaijan, he is in a pre-trial detention center on suspicion of a serious crime.
After the commissioner’s intervention, the family was registered as being in a socially dangerous situation. Psychologists helped restore the mother's relationship with her 15-year-old daughter, and the girl returned home. The woman was explained her responsibilities and given recommendations for raising children. Now preventive work continues.
