Costel Gâlcă, former great midfielder at Steaua, has 4 trophies obtained in his coaching career. Three of them were achieved in the 2014-2015 season, when he coached FCSB and won all 3 trophies: the championship, the Romanian Cup and the League Cup. He also won the second division champion title in Denmark with Vejle (2020).

In his career, he also coached the second team of Almeria, Romania U17, Espanyol, Al Taawoun, Al Fayha, Vejle, Al Hazem, Radomiak, Al Hazem and Craiova.
