Bruno Fernandes, named the best player of the season in the Premier League

The Portuguese midfielder has another chance to reach that milestone in the final round when Manchester United play Brighton away.

Bruno Fernandes has had a dream season for Manchester United and was named Premier League Player of the Season after scoring 8 goals and providing 20 assists.

The Portuguese's only best season was in 2020-21, when he scored 18 goals and provided 12 assists, but the trophy was then won by Manchester City centre-back Ruben Dias, who were crowned champions that season.

Thus, Bruno Fernandes became the first Manchester United player to win this trophy since Nemanja Vidic's success in the 2010-2011 season, which ended the streak of 5 consecutive triumphs by the “red devils”.
