On May 19, in Lviv, a group of people attacked the vehicle of the alert group of the territorial recruitment and social support center. This was reported by the press service of the Lviv Regional TCC on Facebook.
The incident occurred on Bohdan Khmelnytsky Street. A number of local Telegram channels published a video (in particular, “Trukha Lviv”), which shows how a man kicked out the glass of first the rear window of the car, and then the front window. The girl helped him get out of the car.
There were cars around the minivan with foreign license plates that blocked traffic, as well as a crowd; people were filming it all on their mobile phones and chanting angry screams at those who were inside (police officers and TCC employees).
The vehicle was later doused with liquid. The employees in the car covered their faces with balaclavas or simply turned away.
Attention, the video contains obscene language!
The TCC called such actions “aggressive” and stated “damage to the vehicle, creating a threat to the life and health of personnel.” They also announced a “virtual disruption of mobilization activities,” which, they said, was unacceptable.
“Obstruction of the legitimate activities of representatives of the security and defense sector, calls for violence and damage to property have no justification. Lviv OTCC and SP calls on citizens to remain calm, act exclusively within the legal framework and not succumb to provocations,” the message says.
