An international wanted man on the Most Wanted list, brought to the country from Russia. What a punishment he has to serve
An internationally wanted man in the Most Wanted category was brought to the country, on Monday, from Russia, he was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison for forming an organized crime group, possession of war ammunition, incitement to murder and other crimes, informs Monday evening Romanian Police.
According to the Police, it is about “a 65-year-old man, born in Moldova”, having Romanian citizenship and domicile in Iasi, his name being Vasile Rodideal.
“He was sentenced to 12 years and 6 months in prison for committing the crimes of establishing and supporting an organized crime group, possessing ammunition intended for weapons of war without the right, inciting the commission of the crime of aggravated murder, inciting the crime of possession of a counterfeit banknote with a view to putting it into circulation, driving on public roads a car under conditions of temporary suspension of the right to drive”, informed the Romanian Police.
The man was extradited following cooperation through the Center for International Police Cooperation within the Romanian Police and judicial bodies with the authorities of several states.
The man brought from Russia was taken to a detention facility, in order to implement the warrant for the execution of the prison sentence.
