University of Craiova plays on Wednesday evening, at the Municipal Stadium in Sibiu, the final of the Romanian Betano Cup, 2025-2026 edition, against those from Cluj University, from 20:00. For this match, the Oltenians will have a special equipment, to honor the memory of the great Ion Oblemenco.
On Wednesday, May 13, the “Tunarul” from Bănie would have turned 81 years old, and the Oltenians want to mark this moment with the equipment they will wear in the last act of the Romanian Cup.
A logo with the face of the great Ion Oblemenco, a legend in Bănie, the man who gives the Craiova stadium its name, will be printed on the official game shirt of the blue and white team. Recently, a similar gesture was made by those from Dinamo, who personalized the game shirts with the face of Mircea Lucescu, just a few days away from his death.

According to GSP.ro, at the initiative of those from Peluza Nord, the players will enter the field, before the start of the match, with personalized shirts, part of a series specially designed for the final of the Romanian Cup.
The blue T-shirts, with the face of Ion Oblemenco lifting the Romanian Cup trophy, made especially for the event on May 13, in Sibiu, will be worn by both players and fans, along the journey along the Cibin river.

Olten fans travel by train to Sibiu
The fans coming from Bănie organized themselves to travel to Sibiu by train. Representatives from Peluza Nord announced the details of the move on Tuesday morning. It will leave Craiova with a special train, at 10:47, and there will be four stops along the way, at Balș, Piatra-Olt, Drăgășani and Râmnicu Vâlcea.
The arrival in Sibiu is scheduled for 3:05 p.m., and from there, the fans will gather in groups in Piața Mică, the departure to the stadium being announced around 6:00 p.m.

– 10:47: Departure for Sibiu.The train has the following stops:
– 11:17: Balș
– 11:30: Piatra-Olt
– 12:01: Drăgășani

– 15:05: Arrival at Sibiu Train Station, from where we leave for Piața Mică, the meeting place for all Olten supporters.
– 18:00 – 18:30: Departure to the stadium.The return by train is made immediately after the end of the match, regardless of whether it ends after 90 minutes or after extra time and penalty kicks.
