In Krasnoyarsk, the Leninsky District Court sentenced a woman who systematically beat her two children.
According to the investigation, from February to October 2024, the woman regularly used physical violence against children. She hit them in the face and lips with her fists, hit them on the chest with a stool, kneeled them on buckwheat, and also struck them on the thighs with a plastic stick. Such incidents occurred at least four times, although the reasons for aggression were insignificant.
In addition, it turned out that the woman systematically used drugs, often left her children alone and had no control over their lives.
A criminal case was opened against the woman for torture (under paragraphs “a”, “d”, part 2 of Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and failure to fulfill obligations to raise minors (Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In court, the woman fully admitted her guilt and repented, but refused to testify.
The court sentenced her to 3 years and 5 months in prison.
