The Romanian Football Federation announced on Tuesday, April 14, the signing of a partnership with Superscore, “a modern application of live scores and football statistics” that will give the name to League 3.
While the first two leagues in Romania are associated in name with betting houses, Liga 3 will henceforth be called Superscore Liga 3, after the partnership between the two entities.
The announcement of the collaboration was made by the FRF, through an official press release.
League 3 will have a new name
“The Romanian Football Federation and Superscore announce the signing of a partnership, as a result of which, from this season, Liga 3 will bear a new identity: Superscore Liga 3.
Superscore, the most modern application of live scores and statistics in football, thus becomes the first sponsor in the history of the third football echelon in Romania.
The new agreement is valid for the current season and for the next two seasons, during which Superscore will have the capacity of naming sponsor of the competition. In this context, Liga 3 officially becomes Superscore Liga 3.
The strategic partnership between FRF and Superscore represents more than a visual identity change. The company will leverage its technological advantages to help raise the competitive profile of League 3.
By implementing best practices inspired by similar European competitions, Superscore Liga 3 will benefit from increased exposure and a modern supporter experience. At the same time, the partnership includes an important component dedicated to competitive integrity and the promotion of responsible betting, in line with international standards in the industry”, the FRF said on Tuesday afternoon.
