LIVE. Romania U17 – Italy U17, decisive match for European and World Cup qualification

The Romanian U17 national team plays tonight, from 19:00, against the Italian U17 national team for a double stake: a place in the European Championship and a place in the World Championship. The match takes place at the Stadio Pietro Barbetti in Gubbio, Italy, will be broadcast in liveTEXT format on GSP.ro and live on YouTube FRF TV.
The national team of the “tricolors” born after January 1, 2009 will play the last match of the main qualifying round for the European Championship, and at the end of Tuesday's game, they will be able to get tickets for the U17 World Cup in Qatar.

Romania U17 reached the decisive round for EURO 2026 after finishing second in a group with France (1-1), Israel (1-1) and Azerbaijan (5-1) in the fall.
In the main group, Romania U17 achieved a clear victory in the first match of the group against Iceland, 5-2, and then won in against the similar Portuguese national team, score 1-0.
The U17 European Championship will take place in Estonia, between May 25 and June 7.
