Stubb confirmed that one of the drones that fell in Finland was Ukrainian.

The President of Finland, Alexander Stubb, commented in X on the incident with drones that fell in the country on March 29.

“It has been confirmed that one of the drones is of Ukrainian origin. I would like to emphasize that there is no military threat to Finland,” the president wrote and added that the investigation into the incident continues.




One of the UAVs that fell near Kouvola was identified by the Finnish Air Force as a Ukrainian An-196 “Fierce” drone. The Air Force noted that it tracked the flying drone but did not shoot it down “to avoid collateral damage,” so it fell on its own.
