Young programmers from Krasnoyarsk are invited to the IT Cup

March 25 16:20

The youth center for technical creativity “ProTechno” invites Krasnoyarsk residents aged 16 to 35 years to take part in the IT Cup. The mayor's office spoke about this.

The competition will take place on April 25 and 26 at the Kamenka art residence, at 21 Pavlova Street. In 24 hours, participants will have to solve several technical tasks based on real-life problems of city companies. You can apply until April 22 using this link.

“In 2025, we held four hackathons – these are 24-hour competitions in programming and software creation based on real cases from Krasnoyarsk companies. This format allows participants not only to hone technical skills, but also to receive feedback from experts and potential employers. This year we are launching the ProTechno IT Cup with two important innovations: a grand prize at the end of the 2026 season for the best team, as well as a free nomination – space for first attempts at creating a business product, which will take place in parallel with solving the main cases,” said Dmitry Grigoriev, director of the ProTechno technical creativity center.

Over two days, participants in teams of 2-5 people will immerse themselves in creating unique business solutions. The problem setters will be real companies in the region who will provide their current cases. Teams will go through three checkpoints, at each of which experts will provide support and recommendations. In the final, the participants will present to the jury a prototype solution – this can be either a working program or a well-developed methodology for implementing the proposed task.

“It’s great that there are such events for teams of young developers: they allow them to prove themselves to a future employer, gain valuable experience and meet like-minded people. And this year you can also try yourself in presenting your own project – this is a great chance to test the strength of an idea and hear the opinion of professionals,” noted Arina Tsygulina, a student at the Krasnoyarsk College of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies, a participant in past hackathons and an activist of the ProTechno youth center.

All participants will be immersed in the world of information technology, and the best teams will take home a prize fund, valuable prizes and receive invitations for further interaction with partner companies.
