An enterprise in the Rybinsk district was limited in the right to mine gold due to dirty water in the Bogunai River. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reports this.
Checks 2024–2025 showed that AS APK LLC systematically discharged wastewater into the river. The concentration of suspended substances in water exceeded the norm by 13.5 times. The department initiated the issue of early termination of the license.
The commission, having studied the materials, limited the company’s right to use the subsoil. Previously, gold miners were already fined more than 680 thousand rubles for violations of environmental legislation.
After the intervention of the prosecutor's office, the company transferred 1.3 million rubles of damage caused to nature to the budget. In addition, the company entered into an agreement for the artificial reproduction of more than 26 thousand fry of the Red Book Siberian sturgeon – this measure cost 5 million rubles. Another 9.7 million was spent on reforestation over an area of more than 22 hectares.
