Deputy Commander of the Leningrad Military District Valery Mumindzhanov did not admit his guilt in the case of accepting a bribe of more than 20 million rubles.
At the moment, the major general is in the status of a suspect. The prosecution and defense asked to close the hearing, the judge granted their request.
The Investigative Committee believes that Mumindzhanov, while in the position of head of the resource supply department of the Ministry of Defense, received a multimillion-dollar bribe for the victory of the desired company in a tender for 1.5 billion rubles.
UPD. Valery Muminjanov was arrested for two months. He will remain in pre-trial detention until November 2.
