Manchester United and Bournemouth drew 2-2 at the opening of the 31st round of the Premier League. The Red Devils have been tied twice on Vitality, but are confident of 3rd place going into the international break.

Michael Carrick's men controlled the first half of the duel with Bournemouth and could have opened the scoring in the 35th minute. Bruno Fernandes missed a huge opportunity from close range.

He received a cross from Dalot, who skipped the ball over all the opposing defenders in front of the goal. Bruno shot wide, from the volley, but George Petrovic rejected with his foot, from the goal line.

Show in the second half of Bournemouth – Manchester United

The booth entered with a white score, and the show started from the 46th minute. United got a penalty after Cunha's shirt was pulled in the box by Alejando Jimenez, and Bruno Fernandes scored from 11 meters, after an hour of play.

The advantage did not last long. Truffert, the author of some saving interventions in defense, went up in attack and passed it to Christie, who shot from the far corner and beat Lammens.

The Red Devils called for a penalty before the Cherries' goal after Truffert pushed Amad in the box. The referee allowed the phase to continue, the French went up to the opponent's field and provided the assist for the 1-1 success. VAR did not intervene to disallow the goal and award United a penalty, so referee Stuart Atwell pointed to the center of the pitch

It was the 67th minute and the major events were still not over. After another 4 minutes, the delightful performance of Bruno Fernandes was again seen on the scoreboard. The Portuguese crossed dangerously in front of goal and Hill sent the ball into his own net with a header after the ball had also been easily touched by Senesi. And United were back in the lead.

Kroupi Jr., introduced by Iraola along the way, equalized from 11 meters with a sure execution.

Down a man, United defended in the final minutes and came away with a point from Vitality. They are in 3rd place, 4 points above Aston Villa, who are in 4th place.
