Each breed of pig has its own characteristics in terms of productivity and adaptation to climatic conditions. Experts have compiled the top pig breeds that are popular among Russians.

2) Landrace – the Danish breed is considered one of the best meat and bacon breeds;
3) Duroc – an American breed, distinguished by a large and rough build, early maturing;

5) Pietrain – a Belgian breed of pigs, in Russia it is used mainly as a breed to improve the meat characteristics of hybrids;
