Putin first talked on the phone with the new head of Syria Ahmed al-Sharaa.
According to the president, Russia is ready to help with the improvement of the socio-economic situation in the republic, including hummos. Putin wished the success of a colleague, specifically – to achieve normalization of the situation in the country, activate the inter -Sirian dialogue in the world and solve the problems facing the new leadership.
Now Russia is discussing with the authorities of Syria the issue of preserving its military bases on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
