Ioan Ovidiu Sabău (58 years old) is in advanced negotiations with the Constanța Lighthouse! According to GSP.ro, the technician would replace Ianis Zicu (42 years old).

As a coach, he trained U Cluj (in three different periods: 2000, 5 months in 2023 and between August 2023 – October 2025), Gaz Metan, Gloria Bistrița, FC Timișoara, FCM Tg. Mureș, Rapid and ASA.

Farul finished the regular season in 11th place with 37 points.
