The Investigative Committee summoned for questioning the commander of the 95th Infantry Regiment “Oplot”, where Elman Pashayev served. The notorious lawyer was listed as a machine gunner in the unit of Victor “Sid” Moskalenko.
According to his colleagues, while serving in the fifth brigade, no one saw Pashayev in battle. Only on social networks, where Elman praised Moskalenko. Until recently. Shortly before his arrest, the lawyer transferred to another unit and changed his position – he was an ordinary machine gunner, and became a tank commander.
He faces disciplinary action or dismissal from the army because, even before his arrest, he voluntarily left the military unit and came to Moscow. After Pashayev began serving in the 95th regiment, turnover began in the lawyer’s team at the front.
Elman was detained on September 17 based on the testimony of the husband of the marathon queen, Alexei Blinovsky. The former lawyer is accused of fraud on an especially large scale.
