After an embarrassing season in the Super League, which saw them miss out on the play-offs for the first time, FCSB are planning to make a number of major changes to their squad in the summer.
Recently, Gigi Becali explained his plans regarding transfers: “We don't have wings, we have a striker, that's Bîrligea, very valuable, but we still need one more. We definitely need a midfielder, so 4. Central defender, 5, plus two more wingers. We have to bring 7 players”.

And the arrivals prepared by FCSB means that the red-blue formation has to register a few departures as well. The list of players that Becali no longer counts on next season is almost finalized. In addition to them, some of the core people could also leave, but only if the club receives extremely attractive offers.

Stefan Târnovanu – He has a termination clause of 5 million euros, which Becali does not want to give up. He's upset about losing his starting spot, but has every chance to be the #1 option again next season. Recently, the FCSB boss said that he could let him go in the winter of 2027.

Matei Popa – Now he is a starter, but from next season he could return to the bench. Those at FCSB appreciate his developments and see him as the future goalkeeper of the team.

Lukas Zima – It's the third solution for the goalkeeper position. As Udrea is also in the team, Zima could leave in the summer, especially since the chances of defending are very small.

- Ionut Cercel – FCSB is waiting for him to recover from his injury to give him new chances to play, either on the right or in the center. Especially since it is also a solution for U21.
- Valentin Crețu – He will be offered a new contract, but he will get less minutes, this is because FCSB wants to bring in a new right back.
- David Kiki – It no longer matters for FCSB. He still has a contract until the summer of 2027, but will be offered to leave this summer.

- João Paulo – He will continue at FCSB from next season as well.
- Baba Alhassan – He will be told that he can leave, if he finds a team.
- Darius Olaru – He is the captain and one of the most important people at FCSB. He wouldn't turn down an offer from outside, but the club won't give up on him easily. Only if the clause of 5 million euros is paid.
- Jury Cisotti – He is a basic man in the red-blue team.

- Michael Toma – He will be kept in the batch, in the hope that his evolutions will be better.
- Octavian Popescu – FCSB no longer rely on him next season. He will leave, either permanently or on loan.
- Florin Tanase – He can leave, according to the agreement with Becali, but FCSB wants to keep him and offer him a new contract.
