Travel from Ukraine to Romania will be temporarily limited from February 16 – State Border Guard Service

Temporary traffic restrictions will be introduced at the Solotvino – Sighetu-Marmatiei checkpoint from Ukraine to Romania from February 16. This was reported by the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The restrictions are related to the reconstruction of the bridge over the Tisza River and, tentatively, will last about 47 days.

“On weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 9.00 to 16.00, registration of vehicles will be suspended. Pedestrian traffic remains without restrictions,” the State Border Guard Service indicated.
