In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police helped a family with a child get out of snow captivity

9 February 15:30

Employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory rescued a family trapped in snow.

The press service of the regional police said that in early February, employees of the department for the use and operation of robotic systems and unmanned aerial vehicles CITSiZI went on a business trip to the Irbeysko-Sayansky municipal district. On the way, department head Evgeniy Korkunov and senior operator Evgeniy Verfel noticed a Mercedes that had slid into a ditch. There was a family with a small child in the car. The driver admitted that he lost control and drove off to the side of the road.

Police officers tried to pull the car out with a rope, but the vehicle was too stuck in the snow. Then police captain Evgeniy Verfel turned for help to truckers who were about 800 meters from the scene of the incident. Having received a stronger cable, law enforcement officers hooked the tow strap and pulled out the car.

After this, law enforcement officers examined the car, made sure it was in good condition and wished the couple and their child a good trip. The head of the family expressed sincere gratitude to the police for their concern, efficiency and timely assistance.

Let us remind you that this is not the first time that law enforcement officers provide this kind of assistance to people in Krasnoyarsk and the region. Earlier, for example, police picked up two frozen men on the road and took them home.
