CFR Cluj officially presented Marian Huja. The transfer was announced on the communication pages of the club from Gruia, the Transylvanians confirming the loan until the summer of the Romanian defender born in Portugal.

CFristi, we are happy to announce that, starting today, Marian Huja is the new defender of our team! The clubs CFR 1907 Cluj and Pogon Szczecin reached an agreement regarding the loan of the player Marian Huja until the summer, with our club having the option to transfer him permanently. Aged 26 and with a height of 1.93, Marian started his youth career at the CF Belenenses team, from Portugal, his native country, and then went on to join the academy of the English club Watford FC. Our new defender made his senior debut for Danish side HB Koge, for whom he made 49 appearances.
In 2020, he arrived in Romanian football, where he wore the shirt of Petrolul Ploiești for 5 seasons, during which he made 127 appearances and managed to score 8 times. In the summer of 2025, Huja was transferred by the Polish team, Pogon Szczecin, for whom he played 16 times and managed to score 2 goals.

At the end of June, Pogon Szczecin announced the transfer of Marian Huja from Petrolul Ploiesti, in exchange for approximately 200,000 euros. The Portuguese-born Romanian stopper is currently valued at 1.5 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
For Petrol, Huja played 127 matches, scored 8 goals and provided 3 decisive assists, being one of the team's important players on the way to promotion to the Superliga.
