Cuba has a historical cold record – a temperature of 0 °C was recorded

This was reported to be the lowest temperature recorded in the country's history.

Thus, the previous record was 0.6 °C and was recorded almost 30 years ago – in the province of Mayabeque on February 18, 1996.

According to the National Meteorological Institute of Cuba, on the morning of February 3, it was “very cold” throughout the country – 32 weather stations recorded temperatures of 10 °C or lower.

Meteorologists also noted that due to a significant drop in temperature, frost was observed on the leaves of crops in some areas.
