Passengers of the Russian airliner were saved by the fact that after a leak, kerosene caught fire on the concrete of the runway. The fire miraculously did not have time to spread to the side itself.
Smoke entered the cabin from the street, the Turkish airport services worked efficiently – they began to put out the fire on takeoff. The passengers managed to get out, although they were crowded in the aisle. Everyone survived.
The official cause of the accident was named by Azimut airline as strong wind during landing.
