The Minister of Transport of the Rostov Region was detained for a bribe along with his deputy.
Vitaly Kushnarev and Dmitry Mamelko were caught red-handed at their workplace last night. Previously, the first confessed to everything, the second did not.
Kushnarev is the former mayor of Rostov. He held this position from 2016 to 2019. This summer he became Minister of Transport. The media reported several times that he was a relative of the now former governor Golubev, but both denied this information.
