Prima Sport announced through an official statement that they have acquired the television rights for the first league in Turkey, Super Lig.

The broadcasts will start from this weekend with Galatasaray – Gaziantep, match scheduled for January 17, from 19:00. 3 more matches will be broadcast, including the match of Ianis Hagi's team, Alanyaspor, against Fenerbahce. Super Lig duels will be broadcast on Prima Sport and on the Prima Play platform.

8 Romanian players play in the Turkish championship: 3 at Gaziantep (Denis Drăguș, Alexandru Maxim and Deian Sorescu), Ianis Hagi and Umit Akdag at Alanyaspor, Valentin Mihăilă at Rizespor, Denis Radu at Eyupsor and Marius Ștefănescu at Konyaspor.

According to the press release issued by Prima Sport, the decision was taken in the context in which Romania will compete in the semi-final of the qualifying round for the 2026 World Championship against Turkey.
