Another installment of Shadow War. Israel Strikes Iran's People in Lebanon

We killed a member of the Iranian Quds Force in Lebanon who was planning attacks in Syria and Lebanon, the Israeli army said on Thursday, identifying the man as Hussein Mahmoud Marshal al-Jawari, an important member of Unit 840 of the Quds unit.

In a statement, the Israeli army said, without providing details, that al-Jawari was killed near the town of Ansarijah in southern Lebanon.

According to the Israeli military, Javari was under the authority of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), also known as the Revolutionary Guards. He was allegedly involved in terrorist activities against Israel.

The Israeli army regularly shells the south of Lebanon, justifying it by fighting fighters of Hezbollah, a terrorist organization and political formation supported by Iran. In June, there was a direct confrontation between Iran and Israel, which ended shortly after the United States bombed Iranian nuclear facilities. (PAP)
