Colleagues of Joseph Prigozhin’s son-in-law are sure that he died – the last time they saw him was in December 2023, seriously wounded after Ukrainian artillery shelling.
One of the soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces called Prigozhin’s relatives and said that he fought with Yevgeny Tkachenko in the same platoon, and was on a combat mission with him in December 2023. On the way back, their platoon came under artillery fire. Tkachenko received serious wounds in the thigh area, but he was wounded a little more lightly. He doesn’t remember how he got out, but a month later he personally called his relatives from Tkachenko’s phone and reported what had happened. Since then, Evgeniy has not been seen and has no official information about his condition. Both fighters and relatives are sure that there is no chance of finding Evgeniy. According to official data, he has been missing for a year.
