Auchan, Selgros and Kaufland announce the withdrawal of some batches of Nestle milk powder for infants, after identifying the presence of Bacillus cereus on the production line, reports News.ro. Products must be delivered to stores.
“Nestlé Romania initiates the voluntary recall for a limited quantity of the NAN 1 Optipro and NAN 1 Comfortis products, as a precautionary measure due to the identification of the presence of Bacillus cereus on one of the production lines in the factory of origin, the line on which the affected batches were produced. The safety and well-being of infants is our absolute priority. We note that no notifications have been received regarding adverse effects associated with the consumption of the products from the mentioned batches, the voluntary recall of them representing a precautionary measure”, is the announcement posted on the ANSVSA website.
The withdrawal affects several lots.
“Persons who purchased products from the mentioned batches are asked not to offer them for consumption. Buyers can return the products from the targeted batches directly to the stores where they purchased them to receive their value,” is the Selgros announcement.
Auchan and Kaufland also sent similar withdrawal notices.
