Manufacturers who supplied milk to Svetofor diluted it with vegetable fats and evaded paying taxes. Thanks to this, the discounter could stir up gray schemes and give out cheap prices. Suppliers are checked by the Federal Tax Service and the prosecutor's office.
A check with the manufacturer, who worked with Svetofor, found not only mistakes in the technical regulations, but also a counterfeit product. In short: in the production of dairy products, vegetable fats were added and tax evaded for their use. The result is an audit, distribution of fines and an increased tax of 20% from the Federal Tax Service.
The falsification was confirmed in 12 more regions. In most points of the Russian Federation, Rosselkhoznadzor has already detected further sales of expired products with damaged packaging and lack of labeling. All documents have been sent to the prosecutor's office for verification.
