Tragedy in a commune in Harghita: 1-year-old and 5-month-old child, fatally injured by a car, by his mother, in the yard of the house
A one and a half year old child died on Tuesday after being hit by a car in the yard of a house in the village of Valea Rece, Harghita county. The incident took place while a woman was trying to drive out of the yard of her house.

The incident took place on Tuesday, around 12:40, in Lunca de Jos commune, Valea Rece village.
“From the first investigations, it emerged that a 28-year-old woman, while driving a car in the yard of the building where she lives, intending to go out on the public road, allegedly surprised and injured a minor, aged 1 year and 5 months. Unfortunately, the child suffered serious bodily injuries, later being declared dead by the medical team dispatched to the scene”, sent the Harghita County Police Inspectorate, News writes.
The spokesperson of IPJ Harghita, Maria Plumbu, stated that the little boy is the son of the 28-year-old woman.
The police are carrying out investigations to accurately establish all the circumstances in which the event occurred, IPJ Harghita also reported.
