A Petersburger was looking for a bookmark and accidentally found a cache with 60 grenades
52-year-old Evgeniy came to the English Park, where he was left with a stash of drugs. The “treasure hunter” followed all the instructions and found two packages: inside were 40 RG-42 grenades, 20 F-1 grenades and 60 fuses.
The man realized that he had accidentally found some kind of cache, but still took a grenade and 10 fuses with him to sell.
Later, Evgeniy was frightened by his discovery and decided to call the police. However, he let it slip that he had gone to get a bookmark – as a result, the St. Petersburg resident ended up in a special detention center for drug use.
Previously, Evgeniy was convicted of torture and causing moderate harm to health.
