Dominik Szoboszlai (25) is one of his “fittest” players Liverpool this season, however, the Hungarian's wages could be a big problem for his future at Anfield.

The English champion comes after two extremely important victories, both recorded on home soil. One of these came in the previous round of the Premier League, 2-1 with Aston Villa, and the other was recorded in midweek, 1-0 with Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The two successes represent a breath of fresh air for Arne Slot's band, which seems to be on an upward slope after the long string of unfortunate results recorded in October.
Liverpool have not escaped their problems » Szoboszlai is now in the center of attention!
However, it seems that those in the management of the “cormorants” still have no peace. The new reason is not represented by the form of the team, but by the possibility of losing one of the most important players.
It's about Dominik Szoboszlai, Liverpool's Hungarian footballer who impressed at the start of the current season, managing to score twice and provide five decisive assists in the 15 matches played so far for Arne Slot's side in all competitions, the last “assist” being recorded in the victory over Real Madrid, when the central midfielder placed the ball on the head of Mac Allister in the goal that brought victory to the team at Anfield.

According to information published in the British press, the “Cormorants” fear that Szoboszlai could be tempted to leave the English champion, the main reason being his salary. The Hungarian currently earns around £120,000 a week at Liverpool, a sum which, while seemingly high, represents average remuneration for the Premier League level.
And if we were to make a comparison with Europe's top clubs, such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Manchester City, Szoboszlai's salary is nowhere near the amounts earned by, for example, Jude Bellingham, Jamal Musiala or Bernardo Silva, footballers who perform in the same position as the Hungarian and whose weekly account is somewhere around 310 thousand pounds.
So, according to the famous Fabrizio Romano, those from Liverpool are planning to increase Szoboszlai's salary, in order not to end up in a situation where the footballer wants a possible transfer, with Real Madrid and Manchester City already on his trail, information provided by the Hungarian television station Hir TV.
The Italian journalist also stated that the Hungarian's salary improvement would be exponential, from 120 thousand pounds (how much he currently earns) to 200 thousand, which is almost double.
