Rapid Constantin Grameni (23 years old) was present at the press conference preceding the home match against Unirea Slobozia. The match will be played on Monday, October 27, from 20:30 and will be liveTEXT on GSP.ro and televised by Prima Sport 1 and Digi Sport 1.
The footballer reached 150 matches in the Super League and admitted that the best moment came in 2023, when Farul Constanța won the title at home against FCSB.
The footballer sees himself playing in the championship of Spain or Italy. During the conference, Grams stated that he would like a play-off with FCSB and CFR Cluj, so that the fans can enjoy spectacular derbies.

What changed Gâlcă to Rapid? It brought more calm and balance, believes Grameni, who does not get so excited after the start of the season. Rapid beat Dinamo in the last stage, but the title is a distant goal for the people of Giulești.
“I'm happy and grateful to have reached this milestone, 150 Ligue 1 games at the age of 23. Quite quickly. I hope to make the step abroad as well, not to continue only in Ligue 1, even if, in my opinion, the championship is constantly growing.
I say that every player here wants to make the step abroad, to big clubs, in strong competitions. Until then I hope to collect as many attendances and successes as possible for Rapid.
I think the most beautiful moment was the match we had with FCSB, when we won the championship. It was something unique, the first trophy in my career. The second is the debut at Rapid, something unique to have all these supporters behind me, to encourage us, it's really something that can't be described in words.
A trophy with Rapid would be on a par with the one from Farul. They remain after the football career. I hope this season I live this moment and that's what we work for every day.
Maybe we didn't even dream of taking the title this year. At 18 and a half I was making my debut in League 1, and in the summer to have two titles would be something quite impressive and something I might not have expected.
I say that I would like a championship that is not so physical, more with the ball, maybe Spain, Italy. Now I don't know, I don't want to say which championship would suit me, I have to adapt to any style of play.
We are on the wave, in very good shape, but there is still a long way to go. It's said a lot that we are discussing the title. We always make scenarios, like if, but we motivate ourselves with this idea, with the desire to stay up match by match and with the idea of taking everything step by step.
We are making a mistake if we think from now on what it would be like to be champions. Let's stay modest, work like before and give 100% in every match.
The course of Slobozia does not surprise me. I saw what moves they made in the summer, they brought in good players. They come after two defeats, but I say they will give everything to get a good result. We are ready to continue our good course.
We hope to keep it that way for as long as possible. A win in a derby with Dinamo gives you a lot of enthusiasm and a positive atmosphere. We have to show that tomorrow during the game and continue the positive streak,” Grameni said at the conference.
Play-off with FCSB and CFR? How does Grameni see the situation of rivals in the “basement” of the ranking
“I don't know if I would like a play-off with FCSB and CFR. I could say yes, because derbies with FCSB are quite important for us, and a win there is very sweet compared to a win against other teams.
It would be much more spectacular for neutral spectators, but we will see who will enter the play-offs at the end of the 30 stages.
We all welcome the return of Liviu Ungurean to the Rapid gallery. And in the derby with Dinamo this was very much felt. Our gallery dominated the soundtrack at the National Arena. We are happy about this.
We have always had a very nice gallery, some very passionate supporters. It is felt on the field, it helps us and we are stronger.
Mr. Gâlcă brought calm, balance, which he transmits to us in every moment of the game, of training. A very calm person, very settled, with a lot of respect for us, for the profession, and this is mutual. This helps us in our everyday life”, added Grameni.
I don't know Papeau that well. We met at Rapid's match with Botoșani, he came to watch the match. We know he is a spectacular, very valuable player. We will take our safety measures to ensure that he will not show his qualities on Giulesti.
This season proved that anyone can beat anyone. We treat every match seriously, as well, with 101% determination.
