Politehnica Iași took another wrong step in the race for promotion to the Superliga. The Moldovans drew today, 1-1, at home, with CS Dinamo Bucharest, in the first match of stage #10 of League 2 and are at -3 in the truth ranking!
At the end of the match, the coach of the Bucharest team, Florin Bratu, gave statements in three directions. Here's what the technician said.
Florin Bratu spoke about the draw with Poli Iași: “Those who watched the match don't think they were bored”
“Those who watched the match don't think they were bored. It was a match with everything. I met an experienced opponent, with very good individual quality, well above the average of League 2, but a team in crisis. The team has potential, but I don't know what is happening inside. I took advantage of this and when I prepared the match I tried to cause problems.”
Florin Bratu: “This is the club's strategy”
“We came to play football, we with a young team, with players with not so much experience, except for Bobaru, Matei, Morar and Demici. We played with a central defender born in 2009 (no – Anghel), with Pașcalău, who is 20 years old. This is the club's strategy. We are newly promoted and our objective is to save ourselves from relegation and to promote and train young players to give back to Romanian football”.
Florin Bratu talked about how Tony Da Silva, the coach of the Iași players, made him ambitious: “When you say that, it's normal that I'm ambitious”
The coach of Iasi, Tony, said before the match that “one hundred percent we beat”. This fact did not materialize, and Florin Bratu replied: “When you say this, it's normal that I, as an opposing coach, am ambitious, and so are the players. It was seen, today I played with exemplary dedication”
