In Krasnoyarsk, workers began repairing an old walk-through sewer in the Zelenaya Roshcha microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.

The main volume of work is now being carried out in areas in the area of ​​houses No. 39, 41, 41a, 43 on the street. Telman and along the street. Komarova, 7 and 7a. Contractors carry out excavation work here, develop pits, and also dismantle the concrete structure of the collector. Due to the practically destroyed networks, water and debris entered the collector, there was significant damage to the pipes, and some sections of the collector itself were completely missing. To begin work on cleaning the collector and replacing pipelines, it is necessary for the structure to remain in the open air for some time.

Crews are also conducting preparatory work in neighboring areas. In some places, trees growing above the collector will have to be demolished.

It should be noted that this year contractors will restore two more sections with a total length of 1.4 kilometers. Major repairs are being carried out in the area of ​​the buildings:

• on the street Telman, 31, 31a, 33, 33a, 39, 41, 41a, 43;
• on the street Komarova, 8, 7, 7a;
• on the street Komarova, 6, 5, 3;
• on Ulyanovsky Ave., 26a, 26, 28, 30;
• kindergarten No. 148 on the street. Komarova, 5a.

“The repair of the underground structure and the water supply and sewerage networks laid in it is carried out by KrasRSK LLC. Crews must restore damaged sections of the underground reinforced concrete structure, replace brick chambers, and also relay 1.5 km of water supply networks and 1.3 km of sewerage networks. After “opening up” the structure, specialists from Yenisei TGC JSC will replace 167 meters of heat supply networks,” the mayor’s office said.

The collector itself will be cleaned of dirt and silt. All pipes, valves and other shut-off valves will be updated. The sewer pipes will be replaced with modern two-layer polyethylene pipes. Once the work is completed, specialists will carry out backfilling and grading.

The work will last until the end of the year. The amenities will be restored in the next renovation season.

Let us remind you that the walk-through collector and the water supply, heat supply and sewerage networks located in it in Green Grove were built in the 1960s and were not maintained for a long time. Wear in some places reaches 98%. Work to put it in order has been carried out in stages since 2018. In total, 21 kilometers of communications and the reinforced concrete structures of the passage collector themselves need to be repaired in the microdistrict. Since 2018, 7.42 kilometers have already been put in order.
