The head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs attacks Donald Tusk. “It's shocking”

“According to Donald Tusk, blowing up a gas pipeline is acceptable. This is shocking, because one wants to ask what else can be blown up and still consider it forgivable and even praiseworthy. One thing is certain: we do not want a Europe where prime ministers defend terrorists,” said the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The entry was a comment on the Polish Prime Minister's post the day before, in which he stated that the problem with Nord Stream 2 is not that it was blown up, but that it was built.

Tusk also raised this topic during Tuesday's press conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene. — It is certainly not in the interest of Poland and the common sense of decency and justice to accuse or hand over this citizen to another country, the Prime Minister emphasized, speaking about Volodymyr Zh. which is suspected of blowing up Nord Stream 2 and would be transferred to Germany.

Ukrainian arrested in connection with blowing up Nord Stream

The man was wanted on a European arrest warrant issued by the Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe on suspicion of constitutional sabotage, destruction of property and the destruction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. He was detained on September 30 at his place of residence. He is currently in pre-trial detention in Warsaw. On Monday, the Warsaw district court extended the suspect's detention until November 9.

The destruction of three of the four lines of Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, intended to transport natural gas from Russia to Germany, occurred on September 26, 2022. The 49-year-old Ukrainian claims that he had nothing to do with the attack and that he was in his homeland at the time it occurred.
