Colorful footage of the folklore and ethnographic festival “Living Rus'” from the lands of Torzhok, in the Tver provinces. Where moms, dads and their offspring relaxed in our style, like in the old days – while you poked at your curling iron, sipping your blackberry bubble tea.
Ladies and gentlemen danced to the accompaniment of harps, harmonicas and balalaikas, made crafts from wood, and cooked all kinds of dishes over the fire. The festival has been taking place for the 20th year, but there was a coronavirus pause – during which the organizers brought major beauty to the Vasilevo estate. So that in 2024 everyone will come and immerse themselves as much as possible in the atmosphere of the Russian soul and living Rus'.
This year the rally is over, all that remains is to look at the photos and videos. But the next one is welcome.
